The Eight24 Foundation

Every Child. Every Chance. Every Day.

The Eight24 Foundation exists to ensure that no child's future is limited by where they were born, the technology their school could afford, or the support their family had access to. We make the tools of the future available to every child — right now.

Our Mission

"To ensure every child — regardless of geography, income, language, or circumstance — has access to the technology, human support, and learning infrastructure they need to thrive in the world they are inheriting."

Children focused on typing at computers in a classroom.

Our Vision

"A world where a child's access to high-quality mentorship, education technology, and safeguarded AI is determined by their potential — not by their postal code, their passport, or their parents' tax bracket."

Intersection of Technologies & Humanities

The Eight24 Foundation operates independently from Eight24 Technologies. Our research is published for public benefit. Our pilots are independently evaluated. Our data is never used for commercial purposes. We exist because some children cannot wait for the market to serve them — and because the most powerful thing a technology company can do is build the trust infrastructure that makes equity possible.

Our North Star

Education Access - Learning Without Borders

Tech Equity - Equal Access to AI That Works for Every Child

Tech Equity - Equal Access to AI That Works for Every Child

Deploying HPAF-governed learning tools in under-resourced and crisis-affected educational contexts — from conflict zones in the MENA region to rural schools in Sub-Saharan Africa — where a qualified human teacher is unavailable but a child's need to learn is not.

  • 14-dialect Arabic language support for displaced and diaspora learners
  • Tawjihi exam preparation for students in Jordan and Lebanon
  • Rights-aligned deployment meeting INEE Minimum Standards
  • Co-designed with local educators and Ministry of Education partners

Tech Equity - Equal Access to AI That Works for Every Child

Ensuring that governance-first AI tools — the kind that protect children and respect their rights — are available in under-resourced schools and communities, not just premium institutions that can afford compliance-ready technology.

  • Subsidized deployment of Eight24 Classroom for Title I school districts
  • Neurodiverse and UDL-aligned product design for inclusive education
  • Digital literacy programming for families navigating AI for the first time

Family Support - Strengthening the Families Behind the Children

Research & Safeguarding - Independent Research for the Public Good

Research & Safeguarding - Independent Research for the Public Good

Because children thrive when their families are supported. We work with parents, grandparents, and caregivers to give them tools to extend their presence, understand AI safely, and maintain their authority in their children's learning environment.

  • Parent AI literacy workshops in partnership with community organizations
  • Crisis intervention support via trusted AI presence extensions
  • Caregiver tools for families navigating child welfare systems

Research & Safeguarding - Independent Research for the Public Good

Our research function exists separately from commercial interests. We conduct rigorous, independently evaluated pilots, publish peer-reviewed safeguarding research, and build the evidence base that governments, funders, and institutions need to deploy AI responsibly with children.

  • Pre-registered randomized controlled trials and quasi-experimental designs
  • Third-party audits of AI governance claims in child-facing deployments
  • Open evidence library — published monthly, freely accessible
  • Partnership with UNICEF, UNESCO, and global education funders

HPAF™ powered by Eight24 Technologies

The Human Presence AI Framework™ (HPAF™) is an open-source conversational AI platform integrating real-time chat, Tavus video calls, and persistent localized memory. Unlike traditional stateless chatbots, HPAF™ remembers users across conversations, maintains tenant-specific memory stores, and adapts to individual and organizational contexts.

We're partnering with UNESCO, UNICEF, leading NGOs, EdTech innovators, and top university research labs. This research collaboration offers a unique opportunity to contribute to open-source AI infrastructure that combines technical depth with real-world impact.
